got to try the rat and ditto out a bit before I left through my peavey pa200 and 115 cab and an acoustic guitar with a pickup. The ditto is exactly what it is, a super simple looper. The rat sounds good on acoustic, so I can only guess it will be righteous through the full rig.

Which kind of sucks for him because I have access to a bunch of nice mics and interfaces that I can borrow from work, no charge, no time limit. It's actually part of my job to use this stuff and evaluate it.

I feel like I'm shooting myself in the foot, I want the album to sound good, but I can't just roll over and endorse a dick move like that. So here we are...

I do love NR Firebirds and Thunderbirds. I've heard good things about those Eastwood Stormbirds. Is this my christmas present?!

Good luck dude, if you are anything like me you need band practice not just to get better as a band. Practice helps blow off alot of steam.

I've had my eye on those since they released them. At this point now every time I want a new instrument that's not super fancy I think "could I just build that for less money?". Probably, but I take forever to get any project done, because I only have so much free time to work on a hundred different personal/home improvement/craft/music/build projects. I'm going to try to buckle down and start on the Esquire project I have planned and finish repainting the p-bass project.

Yeah, the high volume full body bass massage is pretty relaxing. The beer helps too.

I definitely need band practice for more than just getting tight as a band. If I don't play music for extended periods of time I get kind of anxious and tense, unless I have something else really involved and rewarding to take up my time.

We finally had practice for Warp Rig last Friday, after about 2 months of not doing anything. Felt sooo good to play loud, slow, downtuned riffs for a couple hours. The only music I've been playing since the last time we practiced was just at home for demo/writing stuff on my small rigs.

This has made the move here so much more difficult. I promised the wife I wouldn't a new project until I found a job.
The job thing is taking its sweet time, not cool for several reasons.
