Stage-left or stage-right? What is your preference?

What side of the stage do you prefer?

Stage Right ... so I can see what chord the guitar player is playing ...
...stand on the right of the guitarist (that way I can see what he's playing...
This, if I don't know the material. If I know the material, my only preference is that I don't stand behind a seated player, such as keyboard or pedal steel. Seated players should always be on the side or in back, unless that player is the star of the show. You know, I'd stand behind Elton John all night long.

I`ve always been mid/right. Every band I`ve been in has had two guitarists so they were always on the sides while the drummer and I were in the middle.

Been wanting to give the left side a test run for a while though ;)
 
I'm lefty, so I stand on stage right so that me and the guitard's necks are not pointing at each other. They tend to knock together if they do and we're not careful. And who wants to be careful of that sort of thing instead of rocking out? PLus visually it is better. Being a lefty sucks.
