Standing on a bassdrum

There have been many voices of reason on here advising you (the OP) not to do this stunt. But if you insist...

- Wear rubber soled shoes (something that will grip, but won't scratch the paint)

- Make sure that where you're going to be standing is clean and dry before you mount

- Make sure there's enough headroom with the ceiling of the venue so you don't make it to the top of the drum only to brain yourself on a beam or something

- Keep your time up there as short as possible, and don't jump or bounce... you will be putting enough stress and strain on the bass drum the way it is

- Take video of the successful stunt (or not), and post it here as a follow-up!
