I have time to watch all the original series, right? Because I haven't seen a single one of those, and I don't want to be totally lost watching this movie.

I think every episode is available [from the current rights holders] on the web. I recall reading that.

I can't believe you haven't seen any original ST. In a way, I envy you, as you have so much cool stuff to catch up on.

Fans of the American Pie franchise will recognise John Cho as lieutenant Hikaru Sulu. The Korean-American actor famously played one of the M.I.L.F. characters in the teen comedies.

I doubt someone name John is a MOTHER none the less one that I would love to.....

I thought CBS had ALL the episodes, but that link is a heck of a start. I think "Mirror, Mirror" is my fave of that group.

The episode introduces the alternate reality "Mirror Universe" concept in Star Trek for the first time. The episode has a transporter mishap swapping Captain Kirk and his companions with their evil counterparts in a parallel universe. In the so-called Mirror Universe, the Enterprise is a ship of the Empire rather than the Federation, promotions are earned by assassination, and Mr. Spock has a beard.

I may not see it in the theater (but I would prefer to), but no way am I going to not see a Star Trek live action movie (I'll skip animation flicks). I'm a fan from when the original was first aired on TV.
