No, the baffle is 3/4" baltic birch. Are you suggesting that there needs to be another backing material on the rear of the baffle?

Not necessary for a Neo driver IMO

True, but I did on mine as I'm using a JBL E140. I also didn't get all fancy with threaded inserts, so needed the extra thickness for screws.

Yeah with the threaded inserts there is no chance of a screw pulling out. The M5 screws also have lock washers.

Pretty much "done". Waiting for a recessed jack panel for the Speakon jacks and still need to add the egg crate foam and build a tigerwood grill for it.
