State pride.

It may be bigger in Texas but its biggest an Alaska. We're so awesome we get paid to live there(albeit nothing you can live off), we have boats and planes instead of a highway system. Also; lots of fresh seafood, clean air, great scenery, and your far away from all the craziness of the lower 48. Plus it's far away from the terrorists, and vending machines take Canadian currency.

I live in North Dakota. I am only proud of the people. Who is proud of land? [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

To name a few:
-North Dakota grows more sunflowers than any other state.

-North Dakota is the only state in the nation to never have an earthquake.

-According to FBI data, North Dakota was the safest place in the nation in 2004 and 2005.

-North Dakota has more registered vehicles than it has residents.

-The coast line around Lake Sakawea in North Dakota is longer than the California coastline along the Pacific Ocean.

-North Dakota has 60 wildlife refuges, more than any other state, and all are managed for waterfowl production.

-For the hunter: More ducks reproduce in North Dakota wetlands than anywhere in the nation.

-North Dakota has more miles of road per capita than any other state - approximately 166 miles of road for every 1,000 people.

-If North Dakota seceded from the Union, it would be the world's third strongest nuclear power.

The English, the English, the English are best
I wouldn't give tuppence for all of the rest
They argue with umpires
And cheer when they've won!
They practise beforehand
And spoil all the fun
Oh, the English, the English, the English are best
I wouldn't give tuppence for all of the rest.

we're a a few years away from England becoming a US state.

Proud Cheesehead. Loved living in Tenn. But can't beat the beauty of our state. Born here, raised here and moved back here. Winters get kinda long, but they toughen you up and in general love having 4 seasons and white Christmases. I've visited nearly every state and there's no place I'd rather live and raise my family. Beer, brats, cheese and the Packers. What more does a guy need?

Not much prolly. Austin was "useless desert", look at it. We say blah, make it useful!

Nice FB post there buddy, nothing to get upset about. They are imaginary lines on a land mass, thats it.

I didn't take the FB post as mean or anything. Theres a line that separates Alaska from Canada but the place isn't like either really. So while they may be lines on a map we really hold fast to them.
