Is this a grounding issue? Guitar is newly ordered.
I tried different rooms with as little as possible interfering electronics and the buzz clearly stops when i touch nearly any metal part on the bass except the neck plate or most screws (ones around the jack output "work" for silencing it) Also when i roll down the tone knob to bass the buzz and the more frustrating pops and cracks become non-existent.
Should i just roll with the warranty and get the guitar picked up? I'm not experienced with electronics though there is a local luthier around but I assume even removing the pickguard will void the warranty.
