I kinda dig it, although I'd much rather see it with one more string.

I like everything but the lower horn.

I don't really see the point in that lower horn, as this bass will probably not be suited for playing without a strap anyway... so I'd really like to see it having a similarly abstract shape as the upper part of the bass.

But apart from that... I think it's cool!

To be honest, I'm more exited about the upcoming Status T Bass ltd reissue, with a graphite neck!

Well, that sure is ugly. The whole vintage line is badass, though.

I love it, for real!! It seems very comfortable and light, a great travel bass for sure.

I'd love to hear how it sounds compared to my XL-2, which has tremendous tone. They don't make a 5-string version? Maybe if they knew how many people wanted an XL-5W . . .

As for the lower horn, it looks a little like it's in the same place as the leg rest on the XL-2, which works just fine playing seated.

Basing my comments on the S2000 Status I own, vs my XL2A, it should be superb. Now, if Rob will drill the rear so that i can attach a Steinberger boomerang (not pivot plate) and allow me to install the custom pickups he made me a while back, sold!!
I'd like a 5er that 'matched' my XL2A without the expense of a n XL5W.

I thought that was a photoshop creation until I went to the Status site. It seems like it could make for a very unique SOLO BASS instrument, sort of like the Zon "Vinny" headless basses.

If that bass is based on the Stealth's one-piece, graphite composite moulding technology, then the Streamliner should only weigh about 6 lbs.!!!!!!!!!!!

I like it. Reminds me of a VERY updated Ibanez "bean bass" from the 80s. I'd hit it.

Looks great!!! Been waiting for a new Status to hit the lines. That bass would look nice in cocobolo or mohogany. My MK 6 is just a beast, one instrument that I'll NEVER part with.

Looks inovative and futuristic, and I like it for those reasons alone, but not necesarily for aesthetic ones. I'd have to see one in real life to pass a final judgement on it.

I love it!!I saw a picture of one in Bass Guitar Magazine but its not on the Status website yet.Apart from anything else it would make a great "travel" bass ie going on holiday etc.
