ok just got home from Steel Dan at Comerica Theather Phoenix, AZ after listening to 5 to 7 songs got up and left the sound was shizt, way too much low end , wow and on top of that I expected better tone since there's not much of a stage show. So I got up and left and stopped by the sound box and told one of the guys there. I said it sounds good here at the sound box but down below is sounds like shizt. He said I am not at liberity to say some thing then he has the security guard escort me away from the box. I will be looking for a refund.

I'm sorry the sound wasn't good for you and that you didn't enjoy the show. I've seen a lot of top acts over the years and Steely Dan is hands down the best I've ever seen (I've seen them several times).

Ya maybe I was too critical but I was really let down.

I caught them in an arena locally. They sounded great.
Caught RUSH at the same arena, the sound was bad, too loud & boomy.
Muffled the bands sound.
It's all in the sound man.

That's too bad, I caught the Dan of Steel twice there at Comerica and they sounded awesome. We were towards the back and higher up. We always see Brit Floyd there and the sound is amazing, we are usually within the first 12 rows for them. Our seats vibrated with the lows but the overall sound was very balanced.

I know this thread is a bit stale but I saw them last night in Bethlehem Pa. Sound was great. We were about 30 rows from stage in the center. Band was incredibly tight, you could hear everything going on. Great balance. Zero mud.
