Doesn't look like Pino in the clip there, Bob, on the album yes but from the millisecond the bassist was on camera, not Pino IMO: clip dude good player tho.

By looking it a couple of times i think you're right, Palladino does not jump around the stage... perhaps Pete was choosing Pino to replace "the quiet one"!
Naming Palladino was kinda reflex, Chucho Merchàn did tour then with the White City Crew in this period.

Btw, years ago i played an open air in Strassbourg, France in which we had to face a violent raining, my former Bass, a waxed Warwick (still have it) looked like Leopard fur texture after... luckily a little waxing got it back to normal.

Bob, luckily for me (and my wallet...) I was fast enought to cover the bass and the amp with their bags and to unplug the AC power chord...

The Steinberger did not have any problem: at home with a soft cloth got back clean.

Btw: nice Warwick bass!

Tanks TJ, yeah, this bass is very outstanding, she's got an amazing balanced 5th string with no loss all over the fret board.
And she's a very lightweight but though thunderous axe, a keeper in its true sense...
