Steinberger Synapse XS-15FPA review

I owned a white 5 string Synapse a few years back and while I loved it, it was tough to get a good lively sound out of it. I sold it in favor of a Jazz 5, but have missed the convenience of the Synapse ever since. I just picked up a trans green factory 2nd, brand new for $600. I think it has a very slightly flawed paint job, but I can live with that to save a few hundred. I'm pretty much only playing church and gospel reggae gigs gigs these days and I think this will work great on a crowded stage. I'm sure I can dial in a decent sound, especially if I run it through my Sansamp. I currently use a Geddy Lee Jazz and I miss having a B string, and I also miss having a lighter weight bass. The Geddy weighs in at close to 10 pounds. After the 2nd service it feels like I need back surgery. I should have it in a few days and I'll weigh in with a review once I get to take it for a spin.
