I stepped on two nails once, one in each heel. Now the rule is: never leave dirty lumber laying about. If I tear a noard out I clean it before putting it down.

Man... I am obsessive about cleanup. At this stage in the game, I basically make sure that everything goes into either a burn pile or a save pile and every piece of debris gets cleaned up ASAP. I don’t even have a place for de-nailing set up yet.

The incredible irony of the situation was that the board I stepped on had just been cut out of the rotten wall seconds earlier and I was attempting to set the saw down and carefully clear dirt out of my safety glasses before I started walking around again.
