Stereo Clone Theory

Hello,

I am trying to reproduce Peter Hook's sound from Joy Division and New Order. I know he used a Clone Theory pedal---ElectroHarmonix currently offers a Stereo Clone Theory pedal for guitars, and I was wondering if this pedal would work on a bass guitar? Thank-you.

I recommend doing a search for Peter Hook on here- there are quite a few people over the years who have gone searching for his tone and a bunch of feedback on that pedal including some from people that have owned both the old and new ones.

The short of it is that the Stereo Clone Theory (as well as the Small Clone) works great on bass, but depending on how picky you are may or may not get "that" tone.
