So I've been eying stereo loopers for awhile now, in search of a solid budget one to use with stereo synths and stereo effects.
Well I just finally pulled the trigger on the only solid budget option I could find, the Ammoon Stereo looper which is an EHX 720 clone for half the price:
Just started spending some time with it and I'm quite excited. Just need to do some re arranging and figure out the best way to implement it. Thinking about getting a patch bay and or making a stereo FX loop to run it through in a mixer. That way it would be easy to re route and loop any stereo signals.
The biggest reason I just finally jumped on the stereo looper is I snagged a Roland Handsonic 10 used locally, and I've enjoyed looping it through a mono looper but it seems like it will really benefit from stereo loops since you can pan each drum sound left or right. Very excited to start working on some ambient loops with stereo delay/flanging and other fun stuff.
Also very excited to try looping mono signals through it, since the L and R loops are entirely independent you can pan sounds to just one or both which will be amazing for layering sounds.
