Stereo Speakers for desktop pc

KRK rocket series are nicer then others Ive heard in same price range. Only std type pc speakers Ive heard that are good are those by Klipsch, Audioengine, and some of the high end speaker makers like Kef & B&W who also have a powered pc speaker pair.

To use powered monitors like the krk you simply get adaptor cord 1/8 stereo plug for pc out and left and right rca plugs on other end. Seperate the two sides of wire so one can go to left speaker and other to right. Alternately you can get a adapter plug that has 1/8 stereo plug to two rca jacks and use rca cables attached to them. The prblem with this alternate though is possible excess preasure on the tiny 1/8 stereo out on pc which can get damaged by constant plugging in and unplugging with heavier cable end at theat end. If you want to use the 1/4 inputs on powered studio monitor you get rca to 1/4 adapter plugs for the cable. Radio shack carries adaptoir plugs and cable. Hosa and monster make some adapter cables to that places like guitar center often carry.
