Sterling Ray34 or Warwick Corvette Pro 5

Hi everyone!

I'm new here (so I hope I'm not posting in the wrong section).

I have a question. I have a Sterling Ray34 bass and I was offered a Warwick Corvette Pro 5 string (not the Rockbass version) as a straight trade. I understand these might be quite different sounding. I play mostly rock and typically use an old T40 for most of my playing anyway. The Ray34 (or Warwick) is (would be) just for noodling around.

So, to get to the question part of my question...what would you do? Keep the Ray 34 or go with the Warwick?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks folks! The trade is supposed to go down tomorrow. Here is the only pic I have of the Warwick.

Since I don't know much about the Warwicks, what should I be on the look out for ( like how can I tell if it's a fake, or the rockbass)?

Some trademark Warwick things are their 2 piece bridge, an adjustable nut, and the brass frets. The Rockbass versions have the first two, but not the brass. From what I see in that pic, and that is a nice looking piece, it's not a Rockbass, and the Pro series don't use the brass frets either. The truss rod cover says it's a Corvette Standard and I'd probably go with that barring any other info.
