Steve Bailey Six string spacing

Hi there - can anyone give me a definitve measurement of the string spacing (centre-to-centre) at the bridge on these?
There was some confusion on another thread about this, and I'd like to know for sure before I ordered one blind.

(Fender UK doesn't "have that sort of information"), said they'd try to find out, and never called back (unusual for Fender)

I tried one a while back. I didn't measure the string spacing but it did not feel like 20mm or even 19mm.

I would say the string spacing is in the 17-18mm range.

Just my opinion.

Played and sounded good though

Many thanks for your trouble. Shame it's not 19mm. Do you know I couldn't even get an answer out of Fender themselves? Are they ashamed of it or something?

JJango - yes, but unfortunately that guy thought it was 24mm at first, and got his tech to check his measurements, so, with the best will in the world, I wouldn't take his word at 20mm. Especially as his measurement of the neck at the 24th fret would make it very tight even for 19mm. And I can't see fender making a WIDER neck than normal - their 5's are tighter than 19mm

The SB Aria is 19 and the Fender felt the same.
