Steve Harris

I have been told by someone who have had a "close encounter" with the bass that it is the original neck, but the logo have worn off.. Sounds weird, but seeing some closeups from the late 80's, You can see that about half of the logo is gone, so I guess that the rest of it went when it was repainted to its current state.

Oh, the man driving the tractor? Steve's dad :p

Her music might suck, but Steve Harris' daughter is pretty hot!

Imagine being the lucky guy who gets to marry into the Steve Harris family and have Lauren as his wife. WOW!

...and yes, don't argue with Scandinavians about metal. You cannot win, it's been proven in many scientific studies....

*Cough*
72 Fender Precision (There were only american made ones back then) fitted with: Badass II Bridge, Mirrorpickguard and custom made Seymour Duncan SPB-1 pickups, Specially wired to be as close as possible to the original pickup.

This is the truth, dont challenge me on it.

At the risk of breaking rule 753.2c - never challenge a Scandinavian in a heavy metal discussion.

I don't wont to challenge you on it :hiding:, just enquire.

Why was on the Steve Harris signature bass from some years ago listed in the specs that it had Seymour Duncan SDP-3 pickups?

And why on the Seymour Duncan website when you look the SDP-3 Quarter Pounder Steve Harris is in the list of artists who use it?

Perhaps he uses them both in different set-up basses???

:hmm: greetings :)

I'm Scandiavian (-American, but I lived in Sverige) and that feels like a challenge. Let's raid his lands!
:smug:

Oh no, the vikings are coming, the vikings are coming!!:help:

But we Belgians are used to be raided. :)
No other area in the world is as conquered as much as where I live in the whole of history. :hiding:
(But we always kicked them out after a few years :smug:. The Romans, the French, the Spanish, the Austrians, the Dutch, the Germans. Okay, granted, we got a lot of help with the Germans. )
Americans and the British are so much nicer, they never raided us yet.

oh an i saw them live on friday, it was sweet, best of the 80's

I was there too!!!
Awesome show. 7th time seeing them and I dont think I've ever seen them do "Revelations" live before.

We got there late and I was bummed we missed Lauren. Couple of guys said she wasn't all that great but hey-I just wanted to guage her "stage presence" *nudge, nudge, wink, wink* *say no more, say no more*

Back on topic-I thought he switched to the 1/4 Pounder pickup as well.
