Stewart Reference Power Amp

Hi everyone,

anybody familiar with this family of products? I know the reptation of the maker, but these amp look very similar to the World serie with a lower noise floor. Is there anything I'm missing? Could they be used in a bass rig?

More money, less power. (For the Reference amps, that is.)

Somewhat better specs in other areas, but in a bass rig the World series makes a lot more sense. To me, at least. If you have highly discriminating ears, it might suit you better.

World 2.1 - 450 watts/channel@8 ohms - $839 - 17 lbs.
Reference 1000 - 200 watts/channel@8 ohms - $869 - 11 lbs.

Pricing from the first online seller I found who listed both.
