stinky smelling amp

Wrap the entire amp in a thin layer of tissue paper, then place it in a large plastic garbage full of charcoal. You don't need to cover the amp, just lay it on top of the charcoal and seal the whole thing up. In about two weeks, most of the nasty smell will be gone. I've done it with microphone windscreens and it works like a charm!

Peace, my friend.

Yeah Lowe's is a good idea, Also think about another material, I have redone PA cabs acouple of times with naugahide or vinyl. I have found this type of material at a craft/fabric supply store (Joanns) It comes in various colors matte, etc. and has backing on it and usually can find remnants or mill ends which are cheaper. This has worked weel for me and it looks good too.
