STOLEN 1965 Rickenbacker 4005 Mapleglo

Hello all,
The guitar was not stolen. We found it.
I am not sure how to remove this post - Our insurance company will not insure the guitar since it is posted as stolen in the past. Any help in removing this post and tags would be most appreciated - thanks all.

Not really, but I definitely think someone knew what they were looking for. My dad plays it at church so my guess is someone saw him playing it on the stage and followed him home - creepy.

In this day and age of video surveillance, I hope the bum is caught soon.
No video surveillance at your house, I'm guessing, but is there anything in the neighborhood that might lead to an arrest? Traffic light cam at the corner, a neighbor with video that might've picked up something?

Fortunately, it has a very distinctive birdseye in the wood just left of the bridge, so if the scumbag ever tries to sell or pawn it, it should be easy to identify.
I'd send those pictures to every Police station & pawnshop within a 300-mile radius.
So sorry for your Dad's loss - I hope he gets it back.

I agree. If you suspect it could be someone from the Church you could point that out to the police. Doesn't mean it is but it seems logical if your dad only plays it at Church. I would be heartbroken as I'm sure he is to lose such a fine and very expensive bass. Good luck and I hope you find who took it.

That's horrible. I think that idiots usually devolve into this type of behavior,
