I tell you, stealing instruments is like a waste of time! What are you gonna do with it? Keep it? The thief is most likely not a player! All the pawn shops will be on alert along with the police! I don't get it!

To the bass owner.............I feel your loss but geez, next time, please don't leave your instrument in your car!! Espescially something as nice as this bass!

That bass is like a fingerprint, most likely it was taken by someone who didn't know what it was. There really isn't much they can do with it and trying to sell it would be extremely stupid... then again so was stealing it in the first place. I'm betting the uniqueness of this bass aids in getting it back.

Whenever I load out my basses are the last thing to go in the car... when I'm actually leaving. Load-in they come in with me first. We really have to anticipate this stuff.

Sorry for your loss J and hope it turns up soon.

Nothing on the bay right now. I'll keep checking just in case. Anyone gone to the local GC stores to see if he sold it there?

Preston (A) and I will do what he can to help find it, I need to give him a call and tell him I volunteered his efforts.

I live in the Poncey-Highlands, near Little 5 Points... The bass was stolen at Fuzzy's bar on N.Druid Hills Rd... man, this has been a tough morning.

Sorry, just read it was Fuzzy's...that just makes me bitter. Hopefully they will do something stupid and take it straight to a GC.

Oh No!!!! J-Raj so sorry to hear about this man!! I hope they catch the a-hole that did this!!! You'll get her back, that bass is so unique that the thief will for sure put up some red flags trying to off it. Again sorry for the loss.

I've always thought that theives who are caught should just get their hands cut off as punishment. Don't think they'd be stealing after that, and then it'd be easy for anyone else to recognize them as a convicted thief. Just my opinion though

That Benavente is unique enough that I'm sure it'll turn up somewhere eventually. The guy who took it probably had no idea what it was. He just saw a guitar case, thought it was some standard thing he could get some quick cash out of, and nabbed it.
