Reporting a stolen bass guitar that was taken from my car Friday, March 2nd at Brick House restaurant in Austin.

It’s a Roscoe Century Standard 5, serial number D008. Natural 1-piece ash body, pau ferro fingerboard, Seymour Duncan J pickups.

When taken, it was stored in a teardrop shaped Protec Contego gig bag.

If you see this bass or it is offered to you to buy, IT IS STOLEN!!

Reward offered for its safe return – no questions asked.

A beautiful grain like that will be easy to spot. We'll keep an eye out.

Yes, I am hoping that will help tip people off. I don't have the serial number but that grain is one-in-a-million.

I wonder if @Gard can help?

....mainly with an approximate date that may narrow down a serial number?

Wow I can’t believe someone stole that bass. I sold a bass to a guy in Texas and he asked if he had a bass stolen in Texas. I said no? Then he sent the pic to me from the pics from my ad when I sold it to you in my studio. I couldn’t believe it. Any leads?

I know, Matt! Someone stole "our" bass! I'm sick about it! :(
I was going over my tax prep last night and I was pulling out receipts related to this bass and I literally choked up!
I have a report - with the serial number - with the police. All pawn shops have to check police records before buying a pawned item. I have also been checking ebay and craiglist for it.

    Praying for a miracle!
