Stone/Doom Bassists Thread Part 39: Flip Flops & Zubaz!

Damn. I just went through my checklist.

I need a new pedal board ( I still think I can build a pimp one...)
want to build up those two lightweight Sunn 215B clones
Custom Dunwich something or other... (thinking of the GT120 pedal's gain stage into a rack mount pre of some kind)
Another lightweight bass down the road. (maybe a new #1, maybe a bass that sits in a case it's entire life playing second fiddle)

Yeah, I didn't want to be 'that guy' who takes half an hour to wire **** up every time. Plus the potential for connecting **** wrong, or having a cable go bad increases if you're just tossing **** in a bag. Also, with the case my settings don't get messed with (for the most part, managed to crank the volume on the BBM and not notice at our show last month, overloading the power amp and sending it to thermal shutdown a minute into the first song)

I think if I really had to I could swing it with the Meatsmoke & Tuner.. However I like other dirt: Lodestone: muff tone, Big Spider for Burly-ness, RatKing for Distortion - Unfortunately they're all massive enclosures. I considered the potential for a 2 in1 like Rat-Stache.... But then I would like to keep the DD6 for warp/feedback walls... and the Xero... Volume, and the clean boost. I feel like I could do without the organizer, ring mod, and TGD... Psilosyce & Wah could go either way. However, due to the size of the Meatsmoke, and volume, they can't be "stacked" one above the other which means that any and all possibilities I've considered have yielded only minimal space saving potential... It's like a giant jiggsaw puzzle.
