Same here. Half the building is off. I like these days, it's quiet, i get a lot done and my time isn't wasted in pointless meetings or entertaining vendor reps.
The two Scott ex-pats I know are against it. Very against it. Can't remember why though. We were all drunk. And they get harder to understand the more they drink.
Oh my! After a quick google search I see these RS1's are a touch pricey! I have a pair of AKG K270 Studio's that I paid like $375 for about 15 years ago and thought those were expensive. They sound great but the Grado's must sound amazing. I had a pair of lower end Grado's (think my buddy still has them) back in the day. Should go pick'em up.

I can't believe after all this time I'm still dirt questing. I won't be happy until I've tried or listened to every single fuzz/distortion/od out there I guess. The wife wants to straight up murder me at the moment because I keep listening to fuzz box demos that sound the same to her. "Stop playing that, the guy sucks and he can't play!". Lol.
In other news, my wife and I have decided to dip our feet into the world of audio books and voice overs. We have a friend of ours who's making bank doing audio books. She's done about 5 in the past 3 months (!) and gave us some pointers on starting. We spent over 7 hours on Thursday setting up software, recording multiple demos, mastering, remastering until we found semi-perfection for a 3 minute sample. I hope it's good enough.

I new they were making a new movie, but didn't a full 8th season, Righteous! The street arond the bend from my house goes down to a Chesapeake Bay inletthe river, so behind the fancy restaurant there are docks that have these kind of cool like prefab trailer water homes, and I keep thinking it would be great to film A Trailer Park season at a watter trailer park!
I don't think you were being busted on. Think they were joking on themselves a little. Anyway I love when you and Beebass do the theory stuff on here, props to you both for knowing all that stuff I am still learning and memorizing modes and how the chords relate to them so I dork on on those threads!!!

Currently I have the ultimate drive (ocd clone) and a bluebeard. I sold off a few of my other pedals recently and I'm already planning on completely changing my board around.
I just can't part with the bluebeard and don't want another muff right now because of it so I don't want to put the pharaoh on the list right now.
I was having a love affair with the ocd sound but realized that it was just lpf that I liked. After doing tons of research and looking at tons of pedals I think I'd be better off just getting some new electronics in my pbass and a better tone cap.
Probably the most annoying thing is I want my board to be dual purpose for bass/guitar. I really don't want to go with any pedals that nod to far in one direction or the other. I'd like a high gain and low gain. I really hate putting money on something I haven't tried first.
Current pedals I'm interested in:
Fuzzrocious Dark Driving - I like the light/dark function and have been reading about the honeybee/blueberry for the past 3 days. I know it's the lower gain alternative but I think it'd stack nicely with the bluebeard...
Fuzzrocious Rat Tail or VFE Alpha Dog - Rats
Fuzzrocious BDPG - Stacking!
DOD 250 - I will get one of these soon they're cheap there's true bypass clones on ebay with leds
BYOC Brass Master Clone - I know it sounds nothing like the others but it still facinates me and I wonder how it sounds on gutiar
TC Electronic Red Ripper - A little pricey because it rarely shows up used but I have a feeling I'd love this sucker

Jealous, I've always wanted to visit Yosemite. The few times I've been to northern ca i was in a restricted budget and traveling through. Go for some hikes, climb some mountains, commune with nature, punch a bear in its stupid face...
Threw a sticker over the LED and it's still pretty bright. Not as blinding, but you can see it is on.
Also, we are tuning to C now. Threw on the B string set. Lots of tension now. Going through the newest tune at practice from Wednesday. Lot's of killer riffs. Guitar player said he's been waiting on the right band to jam this with. He is going to challenge me as a bass player. I can already tell. And that is a good thing. I haven't been really challenged since I jammed with this poppy punk guitar player a few years ago, when I had the idea that I had to be mega busy on my bass lines. I wrote a crazy Matt Freeman style bass line that I still will play on occasion to keep my speed up. Anywho, I think I'm going to listen to some Monobrow to get some inspiration. I don't want to be too simple against what he's playing and Sam keeps Monobrow nice and spicy. Maybe I'll learn something.
