I can attest that the rat is a good model.

The amp seems sweet, if it has a closed back to the cab I'd say to for it. If not, pass. I had a 30 watt tube harmony 1x15 that sounded amazing but lacked the fundamental low end that you get from other combos/cabs due to its open back cab design.

If my research is correct its a 30 watt tube amp and has a sealed cab with a 2x10 configuration. Just need to look it over, apparently there were three models two tube and one SS which gets mistaken for the tube version due to its large caps.

Meeting rat guy tomorrow.

Hey dudes! :hyper: Feels like I haven`t been on here in forever!(which means it`s probably been about a full week and a half without any stoner/doom goodness) Between weekends spent camping(and getting lit up) and week days full of house buying bullsh!t shenanigans I haven`t really had time to check in on you guys. Hell,I haven`t even had any real quality time to sit down with a bass and jam out a few grooves.


It feels good to be back and I wanted to toss my 2 cents into the mix!

You`re going to love messing around with the Ric-o-sound! After I got my 2 stacks up and running it felt(and sounded) really awesome running my Ric between 2 amps n`cabs. I haven`t touched my blender pedal in a while. Why bother when you can have a whole stack dedicated to running clean bass? :D

Ya got good taste meng! I`m really digging how those Vox look. Plus all the options available from those 3 in 1 pick ups are sweet! If I was looking for a gitfiddle I`d have my eye on those for sure.

Hellz yeah! I love both of those games!!! Every once in a while a game comes along that just blows me away. Both of these games sucked me right in! Great story with killer graphics and super fun gameplay(with a well thought out control system). I can`t wait for the next installment!!!

I was sooo close to calling in sick today. I was beat after spending 5 hours in the sun drinking beers,grilling a ton of food and then watching the fireworks. When I woke up this morning at 5am for work I felt fine(other than a nagging headache) so I went in.

I was 1 of 15 people that actually showed up. We normally have around 70 people staffing the department. I spent my whole day kicking myself in the a$$ for coming in. So when I got home I rewarded myself by buying the new Queens of the Stone Age on vinyl. I can`t wait to lay it down on my turntable and rock out to it. Did anybody see their live show on MSNBC? Pretty good!

What a productive week.We tracked vocals for 7 songs yesterday,then got a call from a venue in a nearby city,their headliner, a kick ass band called Mammoth Mammoth had pulled out,and we got the gig.Played with a band called Bruce!,which was formed by the remnants of a band called Hytest.Pretty good stuff.

Wrote 3 songs for the next E.P today,and demo'd two of them,aswell as recording me solo for a school project.

Man my girlfriend drug my lazy butt to Busch Gardens last night to pick up our season tickets and see the fireworks and bum around the park a bit, glad I went had a lot of fun, so much nicer than King's busted-ass ghetto Dominion we had tickets to two season's back, lol. And sold a pedal yesterday and a parade and craft show in town today that the little one will enjoy, nice weekend so far. Man I think the four hours int he park was the longest I went without staring at my phone in ages, crazy how addicted you can get to a smart phone.

Writing a bass line to this. most of it's following the guitar except around the 1:45 mark. Trying to write something simple to compliment all the guitar work. This sh!t is BOSS. The next chapter of Still Valley is happening.

Awesome riff, I think it calls for a kind of galloping bass riff that is less busy than what he is doing, that pounds where he accents during his riff.
