Stoner/Doom Bassists: 74 - A few of beebass' favorite things...

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Gonna see if he'll trade, if he does inserting it into a war paint cow skull with led eyes that will somehow move to the what I play or something. I also have mini motors so they could rotate!

Unless there is a similar priced build or existing amp that can fit in a cow skull?

Also what cab would be good for a bass vi that's cheap, I'm thinking old small 2x15 or whatever fits in the car, squally fund got kinda zapped with other expenditures taking precedence over it and the squier vi is much more in line with what I'm actually doing right now, and I need a more guitar/bass cab. Also got the 800rb id like to use with it, I'll be flipping or trading or spending $200 or less. Find me something.

I always been interested in those, hope you get it, a Cow skull amp would be dope!

Too bad youre a bit far away, my smaller Sunn beta 205 sounds like a perfect fit for a bass VI, and ive been wrestling with the thought of selling it.

Hmm does this look bass vi friendly?

While I hardly consider us doomy...this sure is.

Ugh.... You need to ditch those and get some IEM and a good DI. ;) That is the only way to do it according to the thread going on in Amps.

Morning Men of Doom, got stuck at the FN bridge that is under cosntruction for a friggin extra half an hour. Lookey what came in the mail yesterday that I got in a trade with Jmac.
Russian Spy, so many bells and whistles, love that it has the tone stack bypass too. I love me some Green Russian muff, especially on guitar.

Drives me crazy how close minded some of those people are.

OK, I'm gonna speak a little heresy here: if you have a 80 pound tube head, why don't you just leave it off the top of the cab? Maybe put it on a milk crate or something.

That would look pretty stupid ;)

If you're lugging an 80 pound head then you'd want it to look just as imposing as it is to lift :D

Nice! I want to get me a green muff again. I need muff!

Man get a Skullytone Russian Spy, just the tone stack bypass would of made me happy, but some of those switches boost the bass and do all kinds of fun things. I love having the Bluebeard for heavy overdrive/distortion sounds, and having a Green Russian for more loose Muff Fuzzyness and stacked is a blast too.
