Stop calling everything "amazing".

Fantastic has become a word that I have fun with often.

Me, upon hearing a ridiculous suggestion...

"Hey, that's a FANTASTIC idea."

The listener walks away happy, believing they have been complimented.


According to Webster's, the full proper definition of "fantastic":

Fantastic: based on fantasy : not real
 
I agree to a certain extent, but like previously stated in this thread by someone else, "literally" being used incorrectly is 10x more annoying.

Now, I did see someone use the word "amazeballs" in a CList ad the other day. It was an ad for something I actually wanted but I didn't respond just because of that ridiculous word being used.
