Ziplock freezer bags work great.

Just put them in the package your new strings came out of no need for any special storage bags unless you store them somewhere damp.

Front pocket of my gigbag, inside new package of strings.
I actually just used a 1 week used, 8 years old TI Jazz rounds I left there and still sounded new.
