As in the Gilliam film? That one rocks. The Quiet Family is also a really good and wierd film, and the bad dubbing just makes it epic. Oh, and Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas...

If you notice on the poster, one of the writers is Jack Nicholson. He and the others went to a hotel, dropped a lot of acid and came up with this movie. It is quite bizarre.

Frank Zappa has a cameo in it.

Sean Connery and his full-body mustache are the only things that negate the weirdness of that movie.

My friend was right to describe it as "The Road Warrior" on acid...

No. nothing really happened, actually. Things just got blurry the way they get when I drink 3 shots of anything that is 80 proof.


Of course, the experiment needs to be peformed again under better conditions, it's just absinthe is expensive

"Tetsuo: The Iron Man" gives "Eraserhead" a run for its money.

"Thunderbirds are Go!" is another weird one. A serious sci-fi film acted out by marionettes, ala "Team America: World Police."

I don't know if the mention of this movie (or posting of its poster) is legal on TB, but I'll agree that it's perhaps the most disturbing horror movie ever. Not scary, but disturbing. Even Alex Webster from Cannibal Corpse found it to be seriously twisted

But it's not the strangest in my book. The short "Un Chien Andalou" by Salvador Dali takes the prize, IMO. The opening scene FTW.
