Strangest movie ever made?

This thread has brought to light how tame some TBers lives really are. Not that theres anything wrong with that. Ive just seen some flicks on here that wouldnt even nudge the needle on my strangeometer.
Funny note: met a couple of guys at work that love Sci-Fi and comic books, and I jokingly said that we should form a Sci-Fi Schlock club and only watch THe WORST Sci-Fi movies from the 1950's onward.
One guy offered his place (the only one with a serious home theatre setup) and I tell ya, it's been 3 years we've done this (about every 2 months) and the Schlocker Sci-Fi, horror and femme movies these guys have found is like a bottomless pit of bad movies.
So many bad ones, but one that comes to mind as seriously Schlocky is Hitler's Brain.
One guy offered his place (the only one with a serious home theatre setup) and I tell ya, it's been 3 years we've done this (about every 2 months) and the Schlocker Sci-Fi, horror and femme movies these guys have found is like a bottomless pit of bad movies.

When it come to opinions on strangeness of movies I couldn't disagree with a guy who likes to smell his farts
agreed on that, but forbidden zone is good mention. i did not see all of it but "Alice" by Jan Svankmajer was too much for me really, too weird.
I really love an obscure little film called 'The Shout', starring Alan Bates and John Hurt. It's truly other-wordly, and captures a dreamlike atmosphere better than anything I can think of. Very hard to define.
Also, the music was by Mike Rutherford and tony Banks from Genesis.
I also caught a film on television once about a couple who raise a bit of tree as their own baby. I believe it was Swedish. Wish I could remember the title!

Forbidden Zone is awesome, certainly deserves a good mention.
Man, I just watched Irreversible last night. Ooh wee, that one was not really so strange as it was hard to watch. I didnt like it all that much TBH. The 'spinning' camera trick was pointless and too drawn out. The beat down with the fire extinguisher was BROOTAL! And the rape, damn...
One of Jack Nicholson's early movies, called Psych-Out, was really strange in an LSD-induced, hippie way.

i've actually happened to see this. observations: every time they enter the graveyard, it's nighttime, regardless of the time of day. and the alien leader is wearing a renaissance tunic.
The Brain That Wouldn't Die scared the HELL out of me when I was a kid. It still does, thinking about it.
