Stranglehold missing bass break

I have an upcoming benefit show and I’m playing an hour with some friends I played with 25+ years ago. On the setlist is Stranglehold by Ted Nugent, one of the old rockers we used to do.

I thought I’d give it a listen since I haven’t played it in a while. The bass break / bridge at 1:44 of the YouTube video below is how I remember it, but when I first listened to it, I was streaming it on Amazon Music Unlimited. When 1:44 came a long, there was a slight change in tone of the guitar. Lo and behold, the bass break was gone!!
It’s still on the Spotify version, but it has been removed from the Amazon unlimited version.

Possibly was an edited version for promo/jukebox 45’s or potential “top 40” airplay(as opposed to FM rock programming)?

Perhaps. They didn’t cut the part out, the song is still the same length. There’s just rhythm guitar over the bass break except for the last few notes, the string stretching part.
