Yep its the usual Musicman quality, nice and thick too and seems to get better with age like an old pair of sneakers..

The MM straps I see now seem rather generic to me, that's why yours got my attention.

I recently tried a 4" strap, but it was so wide it actually cut into my neck. I'm very happy with the 2.7" plain LeatherGraft (made in Liverpool, England). It has some neoprene-like material on the bottom, cushions and non-slip!

ESO Straps here. I first used their standard strap and now they make a wider/thicker bass variant which I really like.

It's maybe because they're awesome and partially because I'm from Chicago but I've recently fallen in love with Souldier Straps. (Souldier - Custom Straps Handmade in Chicago)
I'll admit to having a Chicago bias, I will also admit to spending more time than I should "customizing" a strap on their site that I never end up buying. But from what I've actually purchased, I can say that Souldier knows what they are doing... Including making a nice "custom bass strap" because they recognize that people do in fact, play bass.

On one bass I'm still using a 3"-wide hard leather one I had custom made 40 years ago, but soon after had to splice in some extra leather because I was wrong about how long I really needed it to be. On the other one I have a soft 2.5"-wide strap from Liverpool's Leathergraft I picked up in a music store there some years ago. I use Dunlop Strap Loks on both.

Although the bass is long gone, I have one very worn Zon strap. I was delighted to find they still make them - and might just have to buy another - even though I play a fender!

Aye, many good feelings for Chicago here. Looked many times at the Souldier straps. I've stayed my hand on the "add to cart" button over lingering concerns of comfort with a heavy bass. I believe I harbor every susceptibility to chronic strap GAS. Added more than one new bookmark since this thread opened.

I'm originally from Chicago, and have (2) Souldier Straps. Not gonna say anything bad about them, I like 'em, they're comfortable, and look cool. (One Camo; One Tapestry pattern.)
But my friends, if you want your strap to last- Leather is the way to go. GOOD leather. Beware of some lesser grades or simulated leathers.

Minotaur Straps are as good as it gets. Thick leather straps made in Greece and they got really nice aesthetics to them
Got to be my 'Ed Roman World's Largest Guitar Store" strap. Classy; stylishly iconic; padded; and it makes everything I put it on play like buttah, and sound like a chorus of angels...

Wow. Too bad they're out of business. Maybe make copies of that magic strap, and sell it on-line!
