Straps

So i have recently become fed up with going to look at straps only to find, stuff like pink fur covered, cheesey cartoons, stuff like that(no offense to anyone that uses them, just not for me) anyways i got the idea to make my own, and then i got the idea i could make them and maybe make some extra change by selling them, long story short im planning on making up some and giving them to the first few people that respond on this thread that say there interested, free of course, to get some feedback. any thoughts?

It's hard to find a simple, GOOD quality strap in 3" to 4" width for us bass guys. Are you thinking leather? Woven cotton? Im interested!

I'd be interested,depending on the material and width. I've come across the same problem as you. It's pretty hard to find a good strap that isnt covered in crap.

The guys playing them in gigs have recently told me that leather is more comfortable. I'd like to try one of your straps.

I am in... I would also let several other people try it out. I play in one of 8 bands at my church. I am sure someone would be interested. I haven't found one that I like yet.

I'd be interested, especially if it was something wide, adjustable and comfortable (I don't ask for much do I?). There are straps on the market made by Comfort Strapp that I've heard good things about, but I don't have one myself.

ill take a nice poly fiber cloth type strap over a leather one any day of the week.

leather is not cool if you have neck dive, it makes your shirt go .........

Leather, 3 1/2 to 4 inches, adjustable between 38 inches to 44,45 inches would be IDEAL!

I havent had that problem unless its suede. Smooth leather doesnt grab your clothing.
