I got the Stretto humidifier from Musikmesse Frankfurt at last saturday.
It is designed to replace the sponge humidifier none of us really wants to use because of the risk of dripping water inside the bass.
They have different sizes for different instruments for the use inside the case (see leaflet) and very new the one I bought which is used like the sponge, but is intended to be used in the bass during transport in a bag.
I paid 15€ at the fair, they all cost the same.
The humidity bags are filled with a similar material as silica-gel which gives constant 50-60% relative humidity. Just used it open (which is not the intended use) for two days and I extrapolate that it will hold two to five more days until it is dry again. The bags could be watered again and again. They say for approximately six months. You can order more bags from them and a second bag set is included.
Doesn't replace a humidifier at home, but could be useful for travelling.
Uploading a file doesn't work for me currently. I'll try again in a few hours.
Have a look at Invalid Link Removed. But I guess you will only find the ones that go inside a hard case there. I will upload my picture later (if I can get it working).
