Strictly for practice

When we moved I figured being loud would be awesome, it is but at times I’d like to play quieter instead of peeling paint. I have a Rumble 500 and an PF 800. What practice amps are the bees knees these days? Turning these down just doesn’t sound great, rather then something lower wattage being turned up.

Orange Crush?
Hartke?
Low watt guitar tube head?

I have an Ampeg 15 that I could use with a head, remember keep it to practice volume.

What say you?

I think if you're not happy with either of those amps turned down to practice volume, there isn't anything we can suggest that's going to beat out you just going to a music store and trying amps out at practice volume yourself.

I wish I could do that but all we have are super cheap craptastic things around here, the little music stores have starter packs and GC has the rumble stuff, which I have already. Was asking if there was something new. The elf has caught my attention a bit, for practice that might be the way to go

Watch the used Gc . I picked up 35w Hartke kick back for 90 bucks. Headphone out, DI,very good eq. Not specifically recommendin Hartke but there are usually small quality combos in there cheap. Warranty and return if needed.
