I bought strings from them last week and they arrived in perfect condition. Also, their pricing is lower than anywhere else I’ve seen. I think you’re being a bit over the top?

UPDATE: Well, String Emporium finally called me back, and have replaced my strings with new ones. They took much longer to respond to my phone calls than other businesses had whenever I have had a problem with an order. So, I assumed the worst. But Nonetheless, String Emporium has indeed fixed my problem. So I just wanted to let people know.I have purchased double bass strings from String Emporium for years, and was happy with them. I recently purchased some new strings online. Just after I had placed my order for these strings, I had called them to ask a question. They did not answer, but then they called me right back. I had not even left a voicemail.
In a few days, the strings were delivered to me, but were in a damaged condition. But now, not only does String Emporium not answer the phone, they do not respond to my voicemails or emails. What has happened to them? It seems like they were very happy to take my payment, but now that have been delivered a damaged product, they don't want to take responsibility for it. Not very good business I would say.
Update the title? “String Emporium is great, the least expensive place to buy strings and good customer service- even if your spirocore is a little bent!” Or “string emporium is the best, even if you you have a problem and post about it on the internet before they have a chance to resolve the issue!!”
sorry bluedog,I have just seen too many of these posts where some small thing goes wrong and someone posts on here slandering some well respected bass product or company before the manufacturer or retailer has a chance to do anything.
I very much appreciate a bass specific business such as String emporium and hope a couple of misguided posts from a customer don’t lead to the demise of a company I respect and use. Especially after seeing so many business go belly up in this uncertain time.
Perhaps- “I love string emporium, they sold to me even after I slandered them
On the internet- and even returned my strings free of charge, best customer service ever- even though I slandered them!”

Did you ever read the ongoing diatribe from the guy on the BG side who tried to sell his Mesa Boogie to Guitar Center and claims he got screwed on the price? It’s nuts. Back and forth about how he was wronged when he’s trying to sell a dinosaur “heavy as heck” tube amp that many players don’t want anymore. Guitar Center has been fair to me in selling and buying used items over the years; so I see no reason why anyone should bash them online. String Emporium is awesome BTW...
Isn’t it basically just like one or two people working there part time?
Pretty sure it’s a family operation. Most times when I’ve ordered over the phone, I’ve spoken with (who I assume) is his son or his wife.Isn’t it basically just like one or two people working there part time?
