String spacing and scale length

I have been looking for a bass with a specific string spacing and scale length that suits my needs. Every time I think I found the bass I search for those two things and dig and dig through threads. I thought maybe we should compile everyones knowledge about these two things in one thread.

Where do you measure string spacing? At the nut or at the bridge ?

Those look like they're bridge spacings. If there's a bass with 19mm string spacing at the nut I wanna see the guy with hands big enough to play it.

Yeah it is at the bridge. Measure from the center of one saddle to the center of the next. At least that is my understanding.
