String-through-body Bridge plate for Sterling SUB 5

I'm sort of bracing for a trollfest, but nothing ventured = nothing accomplished. $US4.5k says I'll never possess a classic Stingray, but I do have a couple of knockoffs: Sterling SUB 4 & 5.
A severe case of .45cal lead poisoning blew through my right radial nerve. To compensate for that, I opted for tendon swap surgery. Yippee! I can play bass again.. ish.

The glitch: I can no longer mute the bottom end (4th & 5th/E & B) with r. hand heel or resting fingertips.
Result: string resonance from open bottom two strings, feedback.

I was thinking that IF I can find or cobble together a 5 string MM bridge with the correct indents on its inboard side, I could then order mute pads & adjustment thumbscrews from Ernie Ball - they'll sell those.

Though EBMM still makes a classic reissue Stringray 5 bridge with mute pads, I don't think they'll sell a bridge separately.

Any suggestions?

Regards,
Rohan, Philadelphia

1. The likely victim.
2. Modified JB (it's a darlin')
3. Additional to fretless neck & body mods, ObsidianWire pots/harness + vintage noiseless p/u's.
