Strings for Drop C. Is this good?

I bought a single .110 d'addario for the low C and a .50 d'addario for the F and Ernie ball power slinkys for the .75 (high c) and .90 (G) is this good? I'm getting my new bass setup in Drop C tomorrow

.130 .086 .065 .047 or .124 .082 .061 .045

Yes, that makes a balanced set for drop tuning. Balanced tension helps to not have a weak or dull sounding string.
I have used Carvin strings [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] .128 .105 .85 .65 .45 for drop tuning and just didn't use the .105 :hmm: just goes to show how far off the tension can be on some sets. Btw Carvin strings are made by La Bella and are much cheaper, idk if their the exact same strings but I will say that .128 sounds freakin beautiful but it is always the first string to break :hmm: small core :hmm: I now use Circle K String and do not see myself ever switching back :scowl: :D
