Struggling to find Chorus bliss

I'Ve been looking for the bAss version for a while, does anyone here have one ? What does it sound like?
The Mxr bAss chorus deluxe is actually good
I also want to fry the new chorus from moog
+1 for the MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe, even the Flanger button is useable.

That has not been my experience. I have the Anadime Bass Chorus and it is very quiet in operation (in all three "Deep" switch positions) and I am pretty sensititve when it comes to noise. Is it possible that your pedal had an issue?
Can you elaborate? Love Aguilar gear, but not much out there on the Chorusaurus yet...
They are tough to find BUT well worth the money. You can use it to simply "fatten" up your sound and make it a little beefier or you can get full out lush chorus. You can also get some pretty cool "Warble" and "Watery" effects. I've tried a LOT of Chorus Pedals on Bass:
Tech 21 Bass Boost Chorus
T-Rex Sweeper and Sweeper 2
DOD Bass Chorus (Old American Model)
MXR Bass Chorus / Flange (This is my second choice behind Aguilar)
TC Electronic Corona Chorus (This is my #3 recommendation)
Aguilar has the most natural sounding, and most diversified range of effect. There really isn't anything you can't dial in with the control configuration it has.

The Anadime hissed like a snake in the top two switch positions. The hiss was modulated at the same rate and depth as set by the control knobs. It was so noisy that I found it unusable. My TC Corona is dead silent in comparison. I may have received a bad unit but the overall tone and performance wasn't noticeably better than my Corona. To me, it wasn't worth doing the exchange routine.
Just my experience and opinion of course.
I did without a chorus until recently. I did my due diligence on the forums and elsewhere then pulled the trigger on an MXR 83 Bass Chorus Deluxe. Someone had mentioned that they got a boost from it even when it was eq'd flat. I haven't had that experience with mine. It get just the barest shimmer which is what I wanted. I'm playing a Jazz through a MB 2x15 cab if that matters or helps you.
The nice thing is if you get one, it's relatively cheap, and if you don't like it you can flip it fast as they are still wildly popular it seems.

The only time I was truly happy with a chorus sound was back when I was using two amps in a wet/dry setup.

I was having the same chorus experience as the OP and finally, after much internet searching and video watching bought the Tech 21 Bass Boost Chorus. I bought it for a number of reasons
1) It's a bass dedicated pedal which allows you to disengage the LFO, which to me is a HUGE BONUS. I love modulators, but don't like the LFO's so many of them have. The tech 21 gives you the option of using it or not, which makes the pedal very user and bass friendly.
2) From the video's I watched and pedals I was able to play live, the Tech 21 had the ballsiest sound. The MXR Deluxe Bass Chorus sounded very tame and weak in comparison, and again, the LFO could not be disengaged on the MXR.
3) The Mr. Black doublechorus was a close 2nd to the Tech 21, but I was totally turned off by Mr. Black's ill-advised recent "April Fools" joke where you could put in a discount code and got zero $ off (until he sent out a "real" code a couple days after....ummm Too late!). This extremely ill advised business practice coupled with the fact that the LFO cannot be disengaged cause me to bypass the Mr. Black. As an owner of a small-business myself, I was shocked that a small company would play fast and loose with fooling their customers on April Fools. Was it worth it Mr. Black? You lost at least one customer forever because of it, and I was ready to pull the trigger on more than one of your admittedly nice pedals.

put me down for the tech21 bass chorus boost also, very versatile, many useable sounds
I'm really digging my TC Dreamscape. Chorus 2 on the bright setting is great for adding that hi-fi sparkle to your sound without being overbearing. Plus there are 6 other presets and a 3 way toggle switch for loads of other sounds.
