Studio 615 gets renovated for 2011!!!

Just added something very cool to the studio...
An Akai Reel to Reel 4 track recorder!!!! I can post a few pics of it soon.
My home studio (video editing workstation) has grown as well. Now I am am working from a Mac Pro (2.8GHz Quad x 2, 8GB Ram and 3.4TB internal storage) displaying on a 30" Apple Cinema Display. Audio is run through the Line out to my Rokit 10s in WHITE!!!!! Then on to the Rokit 6 SE monitors in white as well.
The recording studio recently dug up an Astatic 77A mic with label and cable. Think Elvis look, with old time sound. We might be selling it soon. I'll keep you posted.

Looks great! I think you guys did awesome on the budget. If I were to offer a suggestion on "what next"... monitors.
Yea, we have always wanted to upgrade, but the lack of serious need to makes the amount of coin to spend on new ones not really worth it.
Actually, I just bought another 7400. I have three now. That is 12,000 watts peak. I just need cabs to handle it.
So did you put that babe with the guitar on the wall again later?
Nope. Jenna Jameson is not on the wall. We have the 40" displaying multiple different pictures, some of which are very nice to look at.
Got a quick update on the new additions, and I'll try and get some pics to follow.
Both my video production studio and the music recording studio have been upgraded to matching machines.
Mac Pro Octocore 2.8 xeons with 16GB of ram. The video studio has 3.4TB of disk space, and the audio is running 3.2tb with a 120gb SSD.
Both places now have 30" cinema displays.
My video studio has a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface and a new KRK Rokit 10s in white to match the Rokit 6se monitors in white. I also added a second 17" dell on the side for file browsing.

The studio is now smoke free!!! Both myself and brother have quit smoking, and moved on to vaping.
The Egnator extension cab is sold, and most of my rack gear is gone. The guitarist now is using midi to control everything including his pedals.
We have recently added a 3TB Raid based NAS device for backup purposes and have added some new gear on the video side of things.
First, we upgraded to a Panasonic GH-1 DSLR with a few oddball lenses. We also added 1100 watts of studio lighting in softboxes and a green screen for any purpose we need.
We finished up an album for a friend, and will be doing a video shoot at the end of September. Hopefully we will be making more music in the future.
