Hi there. This is for all you guys and girls living and working with music in London.
I´m a music teacher at a norwegian so called Folkhighschool. It´s a kind of school that differs from the regular school system, giving young students the opportunity to work freely and explore music and not be bound to exams and such. I teach both music classes and studio classes.
We are traveling to London and are staying there form 29. march to 2. of april. It would be nice to visit a real proffessional studio and observe the sessions and the work between musicians and sound-engineers. So I am asking if any of you know studios that could be interesting, and that possibly would accept an "audience" in the mixing room. The coolest thing would be to visit Abbey Road Studios, but they don´t accept "tourists" in their studios.
I guess some of you guys possibly have studio sessions on some these days between 29. march and 2. april, and might want to share the experience with young excited norwegian students
