Several years ago I transcribed and practiced Walk Between the Raindrops from this record. Will Lee’s playing is so in the pocket it’s ridiculous! fantastic record.

Definitely a top 5 of all time album for me. Saw them play the album live in entirety at the Beacon a couple years ago and enjoyed it immensely.

Saw this on FB. This release has some of the finest electric bass playing ever captured on record, and few full albums compare to it. This video is a top flight effort like all your other pieces - you’re to be congratulated.

Did you happen to transcribe it in notation or learn and memorize? If you had notation I’d like to take a look at that. Thanks

I found the transcription online somewhere. It was a while ago. Written with traditional notes on a staff. There were quite a few mistakes that I fixed.

I did a reasonable takedown of IGY for a band, didn’t worry about all the slight variations. In doing so it kept hitting me what a perfect track by AJ, stunning precision in attack, note length etc!
