I bet if someone put some goofy crap all over you, and then took a picture for the world to see, you WOULD mind. You insensitive meanie!!

I just find that to be sick... I've seen some lady trying to force her cat to wear this crap, she almost killed the poor thing... I just dont see how thats right...

I don't think that it's sick. Is it sick when my dad and I put the blaze, buoyant, armoured jacket on our dog for goose hunting? He sure as heck didn't like it going on and would fight it. I would think that people would have better things to do than dress a cat up in a skirt and shoes for a website, but I can't see how the cat is being hurt. Like someone said above, if the cat really didn't want it on, it wouldn't be on. Have you ever put something on a cat or even a dog that it really didn't want on?

A funny story on this. My grandma had shoes for her dog that she made him wear for walks during the winter. He hated having them on. After a couple of weeks of this he was able to grab them out of the closet and he ripped them to pieces. She didn't make him wear shoes anymore.

See I could agree with that because I didn’t think of that part nor did I think that some pets might be ok with it. So take it all back, I am really sorry for bringing this to this thread NJL.

Just for explanation of why I feel this way: Maybe reason I don’t like it is because on several occasions I’ve seen owners trying to force it on their animals and hurt them. Some times they hurt them pretty badly and didn’t care because "it looks cute". At several point when I said something they told me off with “it’s not yours, it’s my I do what I want with it”. That’s when I started to really hate owners that dress their pets up because of those images I still have stuck in my head. I mean to me people who I’ve seen do it don’t think of pets as a friend but more of a toy, an object. You know what pet rock was. I know that I am wrong to generalize and I’ll try not to. I just really hate people who get a cat or a dog and then throw it away when it’s not cute anymore. I really think next time I see somebody abusing their pet I might loose it and stump their heads into a pavement. I'll try not to.

I am sorry guys.

If people are hurting the animals, then I agree with you that it is wrong. For someone to have the attitude that the animal is theirs and that they can do what they want with it is terrible.
