stupid band

Ok so I was in this band for about a year... Little less... We were an original band and had nearly three sets of songs when my guitarist and drummer decided to do another band just like us behind our backs for three weeks... And then they decided to break... Were still good friends... But it's so hard for me to show respect for this new band... They've been advertising about their new band on the old bands web page and such and it posses me off... Any help on how to deal with them without involving drugs guns or oompa loompas :p?

Since you're still good friends, I'd ask them what's up with the new band. Why did they break your band up? Did they think you weren't good enough? or what?

Maybe they're not such good friends after all since they started the new band behind your back. With friends like that, you don't need enemies.

Time to move on. Find some new friends and a new band.

Time wounds all heals.

Bassically it's a life lesson.

You can't change people. Spend your time practicing and becoming a better musician. You can't worry about people who don't want to hang with you.

Good luck.
