Stupid(or not) question....

I was wondering about trying something, that i dont know how to exactly do , with my sound!

I Have one Jazz Bass, and i was thinking of sending his signal into one splitter, and then make 2 signals (One pretty low and clear, and other more agressive with effects), and them, mix both and send to amplifier! But my amplifier just have one input, so , would it be possible ?

I have pondered the same thing.

Your answer, get a splitter (female mono 1/4" to 2 female mono 1/4"). Run 1 line through your effects and one straight into a morley A/B box. Channel A is uneffected, channel B is through your effects.

The A/B box has 2 footswitches (A or B, A and B) this allows you to have a dry signal, an effected signal or both at once.

I have also thought about running a volume pedal at the end of the effected loop to control the blend on the fly.
