stupidest thread ever

idk if you're serious or not, but if you're talking "Austone", that is truly a supreme pedal IMO :hyper:

i understand the builder died a few years ago :(

Yes indeed the Austone Fuzz Nutz, I have the Fuzz Nutz TexTone version that is my favorite fuzz on bass or guitar. Jon Bessent was a dear friend and repair buddy for many years and he is missed. He was a fanatic building those Austone pedals meticulously testing every part for exact tolerance. I will post pix next time at my pc.

Wow, that *** is probably the worst and most useless pedal ever. No wonder Loud Button seems to have gone out of business. I mean, I'm all for experimental sounds and all, but that *** pedal is like the perfect metaphor for the millenial generation who all seemed to have learned that they deserve an "A" for showing up. By that I mean that anyone who thinks they are making music with that thing is suffering from extreme delusions of their own talent, but probably justifies it with an endless drone about "post rock, ambient textured soundscapes which evoke the classical disharmony of our essential being" or whatever other claptrap they just learned in their useless college classes.

Ok rant off. That pedal made me very angry!

Jeez, this guy was pissed of the other day when Mr. Black made an April fools day joke. Now he's mad about an oscillation/distortion pedal. The *** rules. As does the Morphine Dream. Some bass players use pedals to make their bass sound like everything but a bass. Some cats like the Barbershop or (insert transparent pedal here). Some bass players need to try some breathing exercises and eat a friggin zanex (or Xanax).

I can't tell if obvious troll is obvious or not, but since I am the one that made the video (be it a poor demo or not), I got a good chuckle out of this rant. If in fact it is the worst/most useless pedal ever, I'd think there would be some sort of increased interest or appeal in it, like the "worst" movies or songs. So that would be kind of cool.

I did not go to college, I can not speak on the classical disharmony of our essential being, and perhaps I suffer from extreme delusions of my own "talent", but I did write a song where I use the *** for the bass solo.

Although it may not be good music, it is music.

Alas, I do dig this thread!
