The only basses i can remember seeing him use were a fender jazz, what i think was some kind of ernie ball and a double bass

the main bass that i want to find out what it is is the one that looks like an ernie ball which i'm pretty sure was his main one

I think it was an Ernie Ball, listen to Slow Ride thats one of my favs, and anything on second hand smoke.
The bass player for Sublime has used a Koll bass in the past. I'm not sure if he used it for the popular songs Sublime did or not but I remember seeing a BP interview with him about that bass. My friend Saul Koll made the bass so I'm sure its a great quality bass since I've seen Saul's work. I'm not sure if Sublime's bass player is the Eric Wilson you're asking about or not, but I hope that helps you out.

i've never actually seen him play a fender jazz but given his tone a lot of his stuff sounds like it could be a jazz... he's playing a musicman (with 2 pickups!) in the LBDAS video for Sunny Hours.... and i've also heard rumors that he has played G&L also.... plus he's on the Koll website.... so yeah, he's played quite a few... plus upright..... its really hard to find out info on what instruments Sublime played cause they never put that in the liner notes!

)i like them a lot... they're not as good as sublime, but thats also because they are different... LBDAS is more on the hiphop/dub side whereas sublime was more reggae/punk..... if you dig those bands, check out Slightly Stoopid too, they are awesome, one of my favorite bands... plus the bassplayer has INSANE tone
