Suggest a bass amp head

Forget the SVT 450 but any of the other heads are good. Me, I favor the 3 Pro and PF500, but any of them will be cool.

I'd ask your nephew for his opinion. Oathbreaker is a fairly exposed band in scene known for good tone. He probably sees a lot of gear and gets to play a lot of gear too I'm sure.

I think the Orange Terror is a really good choice. In that same range, I like the Ampeg SVT 7Pro, Mesa Boogie Walkabout and Hartke heads - some would have to go used to squeeze in under your budget, but good options.

My nephew is the bass player for Oathbreaker and I had the opportunity to buy his 410 cab. I want to invest in a bass amp head that i can use for a longer period of time
Btw, I live in Belgium so it's more expensive to buy things from the US. I don't know if the sales would make any difference. The prices in Europe seem to be much higher
I have a few options to buy second hand:
- GK fusion 550 (~600€)
- ampeg portaflex 500 (~300€)
- ampeg svt 450 (~400€)
- ampeg svt-3 pro (~800€) --> it's a bit too expensive, but i can try to lower the price

- Orange terror bass 500, but i would be obligated to buy it new

What do you guys think?

Personal experience with the 550, will do 836 watts sustained burst all day long (full note fast recovery) at 4 ohms. Very versatile EQ!
Used that head with a 412 outside to 600 people with no PA support and had room to spare.
